TV and the Social Construction of Reality

Some things never change. If Mark Twain were alive today, he would replace the word “newspaper” with “television.”
The purpose of this post is to reinforce the points made in these two posts;
(the above post has multiple proof sources and videos, and the newspaper headlines at the bottom are pretty funny)
An interesting overview is provided by an insider, Adam Curry (yes,the same VJ from the 80’s) in this interview.  Good background chatter to put on while you enjoy your cup o’ joe in the morning.
This is not really news. But if it is news to you, then you have a lot of catching up to do.
And now a brief interlude which would make Edward Bernays proud, an example of constructing a new reality in a world of crap.
